Description
Tubs Hole is a late medieval hall house that has been significantly altered and extended. It stands two storeys high and features five irregularly placed windows. The building has a high-pitched tiled roof, which is now half hipped at the ends. There is a tall old chimney stack that has been rebuilt at the top, along with another projecting offset chimney on the left side. The first floor is tile hung, while the ground floor is made of brick. The windows are modern oak casements with diamond leaded panes. On the rear elevation, there are half dormers that break the eaves. Inside, the house showcases much exposed timber, an inglenook fireplace, and plank and muntin dais panelling.
