Description
The Nunnery is a 16th-century timber-framed house that has modern extensions. The entrance front features a long lean-to and a modern gable on the right. The main garden front is two storeys high with an attic and has five windows. It has a high-pitched tiled roof that is hipped on the left, along with two dormers. The first floor is tile hung while the ground floor is made of brick. There is a modern right wing, and the windows are diamond-paned casements. The entrance includes a reproduction plank door set under a flattened Tudor arch, and there is a modern loggia on the left side. Inside, there are two inglenooks with incised plaster work above and a lot of exposed timber. The roof structure features side purlins with wind braces.
