Description

Harts is a 16th-century timber-framed building, which may have originally been a hall. It features early 19th-century re-fronting and rear extensions. The building has a high-pitched tiled roof with ridge gablets, which is now half hipped, and a large compound ridge stack located to the left of center. The left bay may be an extension. It stands two storeys high and has a total of four windows. The front is boarded to imitate rusticated stonework, and there is a two-storey canted bay on the left. The windows are casement style with pointed heads, including four oriel windows supported by brackets. Inside, the building retains exposed beams and an inglenook fireplace.
