Description
The Spotted Dog Public House is a 16th-century timber-framed building with a 19th-century outer skin. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring four windows. The roof is tiled and includes a ridge stack and two flat dormers. The first floor is weatherboarded, while the ground floor is painted brick. The windows are a mix of 19th-century and modern casements, with some leaded glass. There are early 19th-century additions at the front of the building. Inside, much of the timber is exposed and has been considerably restored, and there is an inglenook fireplace.
