Description
Home Farm Cottage is a 2-storey, 2-window cottage that dates back to the 16th century, featuring a taller 19th-century cross-wing designed in the style of George Devey on the left side. The cottage has high-pitched tiled roofs. The older section has a rebuilt ridge stack, a plastered first floor, a brick ground floor, modern leaded casements, and a gabled wood porch. The 19th-century part showcases decorative bargeboards on the gable, a half-timbered first floor with plaster filling, and a ground floor made of coursed freestone. The first floor overhangs, with a plastered, coved soffit beneath.
