Description

Home Farm Cottage is a mid to late 19th-century building designed by George Devey. It is two stories high and has two windows, forming an L-shape with a projecting gabled bay on the left side. There is a later pent projection on the ground floor to the right. The cottage features a high-pitched tiled roof with three tall chimneys. The exterior includes half-timbering with plaster filling and decorative bargeboards on the gable ends. The first floor is tile-hung while the ground floor is constructed of red brick. The windows are iron casements with intricate lattice glazing. Home Farm Cottage is part of a group that includes Home Farmhouse, the Dairy building, and a large Barn.
