The wall and lych gate to the Church of St Mary are located on the west side of Hildenborough Road in Leigh. The wall is made of rubble and has rounded stone coping, although its exact date is uncertain. The lych gate is modern, featuring a hipped tiled roof. This structure, along with East Lodge, the Lodge and gateway to Hall Place, and the Church of St Mary, forms a significant group.
