Description
The White House is a double-span house with an early 19th-century front and a likely 16th-century rear, built over a medieval cellar made of coursed stonework, with the upper parts renewed in brick. The building has two storeys and three windows, with a painted brick exterior. It features a fairly low-pitched tiled roof with eaves soffit and end chimneys. The first floor has recessed sash windows with glazing bars, while the ground floor has replaced casements set under gauged brick arches. A projecting brick porch is located under a low pedimented gable. There are hoodmoulds above the windows and the door, which has three panels. The back part of the house, which has been much altered, features a weatherboarded first floor and a brick ground floor.
