Description

Tumbling Bay is a 2-storey, 2-window cottage that dates back to the 16th century, with a 19th-century cross-gabled extension on the left and a 1-storey extension on the right. The cottage features high pitched tiled roofs, with the first floor tile hung and the ground floor constructed of brick. Most of the windows are early 19th-century style sash windows with glazing bars, although there are also a few square paned casements. Some rubble foundations are visible. The ground floor includes a loggia supported by wooden posts. Inside, the cottage has exposed beams and swell head posts. Tumbling Bay and the Stable are part of a group.
