Description

Brook Cottage is a building that likely dates back to the 16th century. It has two storeys and features three windows. The cottage has a high-pitched tiled roof with an old ridge stack and an attic window in the gable end. The roof slopes low in the centre at the back and is flanked by modern extensions. The first floor is tile hung, while the ground floor is made of brick. There is a modern projecting gabled porch and 19th-century casement windows. The left side of the building shows weatherboarding above and rubble masonry below. Inside, there is much exposed timber.
