Description

Culver Lodge is a picturesque cottage dating from the mid-to-late 19th century, built in the style of George Devey. The two-storey and attic structure has a projecting gable on the front, featuring decorative bargeboards, half-timbering, and an overhanging first floor supported by brackets. It has very steep tiled roofs and a stone stack projecting to the right, with linked diagonal brick shafts. The ground floor is built of coursed stone with occasional bricks, and features a stone mullioned window. The front door has a four-centred head and decorative iron hinges. A screen wall to the left incorporates a door with a flattened Tudor arch.
