Description

Jessups is a house that appears to date from the 16th century. The entrance front features a two-storey section on the left with one window, topped by a pyramidal roof and an overhanging first floor supported by stout brackets. The first floor is tile hung, while the ground floor is made of brick. The right part of the house is also two-storey and has two windows, with a high-pitched, half-hipped roof that includes a compound ridge stack. There is a lean-to on the right side. The windows are 19th-century casements, and there is a plank door. Some timber framing is visible at the back and on the left return.
