Description

Applebys is a probably 16th century or earlier hall house that stands two storeys high and features four windows. The roof is tiled and half-hipped on the left side, with a compound, off-centre stack. The first floor is tile hung, while the ground floor is made of painted brick. A visible beam can be seen at the first floor level. The house has 19th century one-bar casements and a plank door that is sheltered by a late 19th century or later pent hood supported by a bracket.
