Description

Little Moorden is likely a 17th-century building, although it may be even earlier. It is timber framed and retains some original features. The first floor is now clad in tile hanging, while the ground floor is faced with diaper brick dating from the early 19th century. The roof is tiled and has been rebuilt, with a central brick stack featuring cornices and rebated angles. The building is two storeys high with an attic window at one end, and has an irregular three-bay facade. A lean-to extension is present at one end. The interior reveals stout timber framing with jowled posts, arch braces, and some half rails.
