Description

Old Cottage is a timber-framed building, likely dating from the 17th century or earlier. It is two storeys high with two windows. The roof is half-hipped, tiled, and extends as a lean-to at the rear. End stacks project from the roofline. The first floor is tile-hung. The windows are 19th-century lattice casements, and there are two boarded doors set within tiled porches. Visible timber framing is present, with brick infilling on the left return. A modern lean-to addition, built in a sympathetic style, extends from below.
