Description

Old Darent Cottage is a late medieval timber-framed cottage located on the south side of Church Street in Shoreham. The building stands two storeys high and features two windows. It has a hipped, tiled roof adorned with small ridge gablets and projecting end stacks. The first floor is tile hung, while the ground floor showcases visible framing with painted brick filling. The cottage includes 19th-century casement windows and has a modern wide glazed front porch with a hipped tiled roof.
