Description
The row of almshouses at the corner of Church Street dates back to 1473, with the current structure likely from the 16th century, although it has been extensively restored. This row consists of three single-storey cottages featuring a ridge tile roof, eaves, and gutter. The elevation is made of red brick with a plinth and includes two small end stacks. Each cottage has three lattice casements set in oak frames, complete with mullions and transoms, and topped with triangular headpieces. The entrances feature three vertically panelled oak doors in wide frames, each adorned with carved Tudor headpieces. A small wooden plaque in the center displays the date and an inscription related to the recent restoration.
