Description

Winslade Cottage is a pair of early 18th-century cottages that have been converted into a single dwelling. The ground floor is constructed of flint rubble with red brick dressings around the windows and at the quoins. The first floor is entirely red brick. The roof is tiled with an overhanging eaves and gutters, and there are end stacks. The cottage has two storeys and features six 19th-century casement windows on the ground floor, each set beneath a segmental brick arch. Two 19th-century glazed and panelled doors are present, each with painted panels above them, set within stucco frames that include an entablature moulding and ornamental keystones decorated with embossed heads.
