Description
Trundles is a house that dates back to the 16th century and was altered in the late 19th century. It features a timber-framed structure with roughcast and applied framing, resting on a red brick base, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and a roof that is half-hipped to the right. There are stacks positioned to the centre right and projecting at the end right.
On the first floor, there are two light and two three-light leaded wooden casements, along with a cross-window to the left. The ground floor has two mullioned and transomed bays, and a half-glazed door located to the centre right, which is accessed by a flight of brick steps. This door is sheltered by a cornice hood that extends over the adjoining bay window. To the right, there is an outshot featuring a raking 20th-century dormer, a metal casement, and a boarded door on the ground floor. At the rear right, there is a hipped projecting wing with a weather-boarded catslide outshot.
