Description
Bank House is a house dating from the 16th century. It is located on the south side of Goudhurst High Street. The house has a timber frame and is clad with red brick on the ground floor, weather boarding on the ground floor, and rendered on the first floor. The roof is tiled, with a hipped section to the left and a half-hipped section to the right, featuring gablets. A central stack cluster is prominent. A flat-roofed dormer window is present on the right side. The first floor has two wooden casement windows of uneven sizes. The ground floor has a casement window to the left, a three-light casement window to the right, and an 18-pane shop window with a central panelled door and a large, flat hood supported by brackets to the centre left.
