Description

No 9 Mill Hill is a small house that dates back to the 16th century, with early 19th-century and 20th-century alterations. It features a timber frame with brick infill and a tiled roof, which has a slated rear outshot. The house retains the remains of a larger 16th-century structure, originally consisting of two bays and one storey with an attic, along with an early 19th-century rear outshot. The windows are from the 20th century, including one small gabled dormer with casements. The front and south end of the house expose the timber frame, showcasing the internal cross frame of a small two-bay hall and indicating the later addition of a first floor and chimney. The front has a boarded door, while the rest is a garage door.
