Description

No. 49 Broad Street is a house dating from the 18th century, with an early 19th-century front. It is constructed of stucco and features a tile roof. The building has a parapet with coping, which is adorned with two pineapple vases at each side. It includes a plain band, plain architraves with keystones, stone cills, and a plinth. The windows are sashes set in reveals, with a blank frame on the south side. The single ground-floor window is a 3-light sash of lesser height, which has replaced a former shop window. The doorway is plain and features a 6-panelled door. Additionally, there is a carriage entrance on the south side.
