Description
This milestone, dating from the 18th century, is located 50 meters east of the side road to Kent's Wood on Horseshoe Hill in Nether Wallop. It is made of inscribed painted stone and has a square section. The corner facing the road has the bottom part hollowed out for the inscription '10 to Sarum'. Additionally, there are inscriptions on two faces stating '70 miles to LONDON' and '4 miles to Stockbridge'.
