Description
Ashers Farmhouse is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations and extensions in the 18th century. It is built of timber-frame and brick, with an old plain tile roof. The original three-bay 17th-century section faces the road, with a further three bays added to the rear in the 18th century. The front of the house has a two-light leaded casement window in the left bay, which is part of the original 17th-century building, and a three-light leaded casement window in the right bay. The eaves are dentilled. The roof is hipped to the left and half-hipped to the right, with a stack on the hip. The group value context recognises its contribution to the character of the area.
