Description

Jane's Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that was remodelled in the 18th century. It originally formed a pair of cottages. The construction is timber frame with colourwashed brick infill, and the ground floor and end bays are a combination of colourwashed flint and brick. It has a thatched roof. The cottage is one and a half storeys and comprises three bays from the 17th century, with a bay added to the left, creating two cottages. Each bay has a 2-light casement window, and there’s a casement window to the left of the centre. An eyebrow dormer with 2-light casements is above the left three bays. The roof is half-hipped and has a stack in the centre.
