Description
Mallows is a cottage that dates from the 17th century but was refronted in the 18th century. It has a timber-frame core that is encased in colourwashed brick and flint, topped with a thatched roof. The building is 1½ storeys high and has three bays, with an additional bay added to the right in the 18th century. The early 20th-century door is located in the centre bay, flanked by 4-light casements on each side. There are three eyebrow dormers, each with 2 or 3-light casements. The roof is half-hipped to the left and hipped to the right, with a stack positioned on the ridge above the door.
