Description
Old Timbers is a 17th-century cottage that was altered in the 18th century. It features a timber frame with brick infill, including some blue bricks and some that are colorwashed, as well as brick rebuilding. The cottage has a thatched roof and is two bays wide with an outshot on the left side. It stands at one and a half stories high on a brick plinth. The right bay contains a 20th-century door and a wide three-light window. The left bay has a three-light casement window, and the outshot features a similar window with two lights that are blocked. All windows are leaded. Above each bay, there is a three-light casement window in an eyebrow dormer. The roof is hipped and sweeps down to the left, with a pair of stacks positioned above the door.
