Description

Trokes Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that was altered in the 18th century. It features a timber frame that has been rebuilt in brick or tile-hung, topped with an old plain tile roof. The cottage is two stories high and has two bays, with a lean-to on one end. The front of the building has an 18th-century planked door with a segmental head to the left of the right bay. Next to this door is a two-light segmental head casement window. In the left bay, there is a three-light casement window. Above each bay, there are two-light basement windows. The cottage has end stacks and a lean-to on the right side, with exposed timber framing visible in the gable above.
