Description
The Old Fox is a house that was formerly an inn, dating from the 18th century. The front features a combination of brick and flint bands, with the rest of the building constructed of brick and topped with an old plain tile roof. It is two storeys high and has three bays, with a wing extending to the rear on the left and a smaller wing in the centre, along with a projecting lean-to at the right end.
The front has a central 20th-century door set in a solid segmental head frame, and there is a 20th-century trellis porch in front of it. To the left, there is a three-light segmental head casement window, while to the right, there are two 12-pane sash windows. On the first floor, there are two-light casements on either side of a single light window. The building features toothed eaves and has end stacks.
