Description
This is a 17th-century cottage that was altered in the 18th century, located on Rectory Lane. It has a timber-frame structure with brick infill and rebuilding, topped with a thatched roof. The cottage is 1½ storeys high and consists of two bays, with an outshot at the far end. The road-facing side features two 20th-century casement windows on the ground floor and one above in the brick gable. On the north side, there is a similar casement window in the far bay, with another above in an eyebrow dormer, and a light in the end bay. The roof is half-hipped at the road end and sweeps down over the outshot. A ridge stack is positioned between the bays. This cottage forms a pair with Dengrid, which is separated by a lawn and faces the churchyard.
