Description
The wall around Mottisfont House and the stable block dates from the 18th century and early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and flint, with a brick and tile coping and an old plain tile roof. The wall begins at the entrance to the church and extends south for 40 meters along the lane. It features a gateway and includes a stable block with three bays, two of which have double doors, while the projecting third bay has a stable door and a lunette window. The roof of the stable block has five small hipped roofs. The wall continues east along the main road for 150 meters, standing at a height of 2.5 meters, with sections reflecting different construction dates, before curving south to run 20 meters along the stream.
