Description

Hazel Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage that has been altered in the 18th and 19th centuries. It is constructed of brick with timber in the gable and features an old plain tile roof. The cottage is 1½ storeys high and has two bays, with a two-storey wing on the left side and a one-storey wing on the right side at the rear. The front of the cottage has a central plank door, with a two-light gabled dormer on each side. The roof is half-hipped to the right, and there is a stack in front of the ridge as well as a stack on the left end. The cottage is included for its group value.
