Description

Wyncourt House is an early 19th-century house located on Paynes Lane. It is constructed of colourwashed brick and features a slate roof with lead ridges. The building has an L-shaped layout, with a three-bay front facing Paynes Lane and a two-bay front on High Street, both of which are two stories high. The front includes three wide bays, a six-panel door, and a semi-circular fanlight positioned to the right of the centre. There are six 16-pane sash windows with keystones set in rendered arches. The roof of the left bay is hipped, while the other range has a higher ridge. There are chimney stacks at the right end and to the left of the centre.
