Description
Warren Cottage is a cottage with a 17th century core that was altered in the early 18th century and again in the 19th century. It has a timber-frame core with a colourwashed brick front and an old plain tile roof. The building is two stories high and sits on a cellar, featuring two bays with a 20th century extension at the rear. The central entrance is a six-panel door from around 1800, which has flush lower panels. On either side of the door are 19th century four-pane sash windows in their original openings, topped with rubbed brick heads. There are also two 19th century four-pane sashes on the first floor. The cottage has a toothed cornice and an external stack at the right end. On the first floor, to the left, there are two straight tie plates.
