Description

Longstone Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It features a timber frame with brick infill, set on a brick plinth, and has a plain tile roof with brick stacks at each end. The cottage is two storeys high and has three two-light casement windows from the 19th century, arranged in three framed bays. The entrance is located off centre to the left and has a 20th-century glazed door. To the left, there is a single-storey brick lean-to. The framing consists of four square panels high to the wallplate, with queen strut trusses in the gables.
