Description

The Old School House is a former school and teacher's house, now divided into two houses, built in 1846 by Harvey Eginton. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features a plain tile roof with a decorative ridge and end stacks. The building is 1½ storeys high with coped verges and consists of four bays, with the outer two projecting and featuring gables. There are porches on the left and right return fronts. The centre has two gabled dormers, while the outer bays each have a gable window with three lights and trefoil heads. The ground floor windows also have four lights with trefoil heads, and the porches include single light side windows with two-centred heads. At the rear, there are two former classrooms.
