Description
Barber's Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse that has undergone some alterations in the 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a hipped plain tile roof with brick end stacks. The building has a parallel ridge plan and stands three storeys high. It is adorned with a modillioned wooden cornice and has five bays of glazing bar sash windows that are slightly recessed, with exposed sash boxes. The second floor has windows with nine panes, while the other floors have windows with twelve panes, all set under rubbed brick heads with stone keystones that are fluted on the first floor. The central entrance is located under a flat canopy supported by scrolled brackets, also featuring a modillioned cornice, and includes a 20th-century glazed door. To the left, there is a single bay lean-to extension.
