Description

The gates, gate piers, and railings at the entrance to Barber's Farmhouse date from the early 19th century. They feature brick gate piers topped with concrete capping and imported late 18th century lead urns in the Adam style. The gates are made of cast and wrought iron, designed with dog rails and large fleur-de-lys standards, along with a mid rail that has circular motifs. The railings are in a reverse quadrant style and include stylized fleur-de-lys heads, set on brick dwarf walls with stone capping. The end piers also have concrete capping.
