Description

The railings, piers, and gate at the Manor House date from the 18th century. They feature a crested wrought iron gate in front of the house, flanked by red brick piers topped with stone vases. On either side of the gate, there are stretches of iron railings of unequal length, interspersed with four similar piers. The right-hand section continues as a return to the north-east. The wide gate is flanked by broad scrolled panels, which have separate cresting on the overthrow. The railings are designed with openwork scrolled standards on low piers.
