Description

The railings and gate at Parr's Farmhouse date from the late 19th century. They are made of wrought and cast iron, featuring spear head verticals and standards with an Anthemion top, spaced at approximately 5 meters apart. Some of the spear heads are broken off. The railings consist of 13 panels set against a low stone curb. At the near right-hand end, there is a small gate that matches the design of the railings. The structure extends to the projecting wing of the building on the left-hand side and includes a short return on the right-hand side beyond the gate.
