Description

Chandos House is a dwelling built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from limestone ashlar and features a plain first-floor string and plinth, along with a low-pitched hipped Welsh slate roof that has deep projecting eaves. The building has two storeys and a basement, with three-windowed contemporary sashes that include glazing bars. Centrally located is a late 20th-century door, which is accessed by three stone steps with moulded nosings, and is sheltered by an umbrella canopy supported on 20th-century stone cheeks. There is a new wing to the right and a lean-to at the back.
