Description

High Street House is a cottage with a 17th-century core, substantially remodelled in the late 18th century. It has a timber-frame core and is constructed of brick with blue headers, topped with an old plain tile roof. The original building was two bays wide and two storeys high, with a later range added to the rear. A boarded door is located to the right of centre, set within a solid frame and covered by a gabled hood supported on brackets. The ground floor has two six-pane sash windows with segmental heads. The first floor is characterised by bands of blue headers, and features a central blue header panel flanked by two six-pane sash windows.
