Description
Brunswick House and Laundry Cottage is a pair of houses dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed of brick and have an old plain tile roof. The buildings are set on a raised pavement and consist of a 2-storey and attic structure with five bays, featuring a wing at the rear on the right side.
The main entrance includes a wide early 19th-century six-pane half-glazed door set within a moulded lugged doorcase, located in the second bay from the left. There is a smaller similar door in the second bay from the right. The façade is adorned with ten twelve-pane sash windows, each with rubbed brick heads. The eaves are dentilled, and the hipped roof is complemented by three two-light hip-roofed dormers. There are chimney stacks on the left hip and behind the ridge to the right.
