Description
This is a house, originally one dwelling but later divided into three cottages. It dates back to the 16th century, but was significantly altered and refaced in the 18th century. The house is timber-framed and mostly brick, with some areas rendered (plastered) and colourwashed. It is two storeys in height, with three main bays. A section projects outwards on the left side, and there is a single-storey addition at the right. A 20th-century door is set within an older frame at the inner end of the right bay, with a rendered lintel above; the rest of that bay is blank. The central bay has 20th-century two- and three-light casement windows, and the left bay has three-light casement windows on each floor, with a 19th-century door at the left end. The roof is hipped and slopes down to the left, and is half-hipped on the right, with a chimney stack located above the right-hand door. The internal timber framing is exposed.
