Description

Alcombe is a pair of cottages built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of brick and topped with an old plain tile roof. The cottages are two stories high and have two bays. At the outer ends of the bays, there are doorways; the left doorway features the original four-panel door, while the other has a 20th-century door. Both doorways have small flat hoods with a rendered patch above. The first floor has two three-light segmental-headed casements, which are set above a blue header band, and the ground floor has two three-light casements with a dentilled cornice. A large central stack is positioned in front of the ridge. These cottages are included for their group value.
