Description

Saint Agnes is a cottage that was formerly used as a malting, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of colourwashed brick and has an old plain tile roof. The building is two stories tall with a single bay, and it features a three-bay wing at the rear along with a single-storey addition to the left. On the left side, there is an 18th-century six-flush-panel door, while to the right, there is a 20th-century three-light casement window in an original segmental opening, with a 20th-century four-light casement window above it. The eaves are dentilled, and there is a stack on the left end, with the higher gable end of the Old Malt House adjacent to the right. The single-storey bay has a two-light casement window and a hipped roof.
