Description
Nos. 3 and 4 Park Lane is a house that has been converted into a pair of cottages. Originally built in the 16th century, it was refronted in the 18th century, divided, and had slate hung added in the 19th century. The structure is timber-framed and encased in brick, with a slate-hung front. The building is two stories high and has three bays. In the center, there are a pair of 20th-century top-lit doors set beneath a wide cambered arch in an open timber pent-roofed porch. On either side of the doors, there are small 12-pane sash windows with above them two-light casements. There is a blind opening above the doors, and the eaves are toothed. The roof is higher in the center and features hips that slope down to mansard roofs on each side, with the upper part covered in slate. There are shared stacks at each end with the adjoining building.
