Description

Garden Cottage is a cottage that dates from the 17th century, with an 18th-century dwelling. It features a brick front and a thatched roof. The building is a narrow block positioned at right angles to the roadway. The front (south) side has one storey and an attic, with three windows above four. It has a hipped roof with eyebrow dormers and the eaves are low on the east side, creating an open porch. The windows are casements, and there is a plain door. The north elevation shows exposed timber-framing in part, while the other part is rendered on cob.
