Description

Twyneham House is a house dating to circa 1840. It is constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with flush yellow brick dressings (now painted red). The house has a tile roof. The west front is symmetrical, designed with two storeys and three windows. A low, two-storey extension is present to the south side, with two windows. The roof is hipped, with a half-hipped section. The building features quoins, a first-floor band, a plinth, and the ground floor windows have classical stucco frames with a pediment blocking course, cornice, block caps to pilasters, and cills. The windows are sash windows set in reveals. A stucco Tuscan porch with two columns and two pilasters provides access, and includes a plain fanlight above a three-panelled door.
