Description

Moorings is a cottage that dates from the 18th and 19th centuries, with restoration carried out in the 20th century. The walls are rendered, and the roof is a combination of thatch and slate. The building is positioned at right angles to the roadway, featuring a low wing along the road on the south side. It has a half-hipped thatch roof, with the eaves lowered above a projecting wing on the east side. The west wing, which was added in the late 19th century, has a slate roof. The walls are plain, and the windows are casements. There is a doorway that is set within a glazed verandah.
